Brave is a commendable charity dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence and providing them with essential resources and assistance. Their mission revolves around fostering healing, empowerment, and advocacy for those affected by sexual harm. We want to see all young New Zealanders feel empowered and brave enough to ask for help if they have been affected by sexual harm in any way. This includes anyone who has been a victim of sexual harm or anyone who feels worried about their own thoughts or behaviors.
We would also like to see the stigma around sexual violence disappear so that the topic can be talked about more freely within our communities. As a proud supporter of Brave, I am actively involved in raising awareness. Through various initiatives and campaigns, I aim to amplify their message, promote survivor-centric support systems, and contribute to the eradication of sexual violence in our communities.
